Artwork Delivery
Please print off the attached label sheet. It contains labelling information to be cut out and securely attached to the back of each of your artwork pieces plus the information needs to be on the front of the packaged artwork. If you are submitting works on paper you may write the details lightly in pencil on the back if you are worried it will show through.
Your artwork needs to be packaged securely for storage. We have over 300 works coming in and whilst we will make every attempt to protect your work, you can make it much easier for us by properly protecting your own work.
Framed works, works on canvas etc should be wrapped in sturdy paper, card or preferably in bubble wrap. We have a small amount in the stock room if you need some. Please make sure D-rings and wires are attached. Works without fittings may not be able to be accommodated in the exhibition.
Works on paper need to be delivered in a folio. You can use a pre-made one or make your own from card stock. As your folio will have your name on it we will endeavour to return it to you.
Your artwork must be delivered to the HAS Studio between Monday 25 August and Sunday 31 August 2025, 10:00am and 4:00pm, or by prior arrangement. If you are unable to deliver between these times, we will accept artwork delivered during your normal studio sessions prior, if that artwork is placed on the designated shelves in the storage room. You must sign (and date) your artwork in the sign-in book in the storage room near the entrance to the change room. Please take pity on the poor volunteers who waste inordinate amounts of time trying to chase up missing artwork only to find out it has actually been delivered.
Please be very careful when putting your artwork on the shelves or in the large artwork storage area. Each artwork is precious to someone. Do not damage other artists’ work. If you can’t find a space for your artwork please leave it on the central table rather than risk damaging anyone else’s work.
Non-compliant artwork or artwork received after this time may not be included in the exhibition.
After the exhibition, all unsold artwork must be collected from the HAS studio by 6:00pm Monday 8 September 2025, unless prior arrangements are made. Artwork not collected by this time may be disposed of or given to the abstract painters to paint over.
Sold work will be packaged and the buyers will be contacted for collection from the studio.
