HAS studio - Performance Space
Studio practice, creative process & professional journey
Join us for a free artist talk with Melbourne artist Michael Vale, a three-time Archibald Prize finalist, Doug Moran National Portrait Prize winner, and one of Australia's most distinctive contemporary painters.
Michael's work fuses romantic landscapes with surreal, theatrical figures and a darkly comic sensibility that is entirely his own. In this talk, he'll share insights into his creative process, where he finds inspiration, and the professional journey behind a decades-long career in art.
Free to attend, bookings are essential, all are welcome. Refreshments served and time to mingle after the talk.
