Christmas shopping night is from 5 - 8pm on Wed 6 Dec.
Normal gallery hours for the week after that - 10am to 5pm Tue to Fri and 11am to 4pm Sat & Sun.
Mondays the gallery is closed. The event runs until Wednesday 20 December.
Town Hall Gallery will be holding a Christmas Shopping Night in The Emporium space. The gallery will be open, there is a cash bar, Camberwell Rotary will be selling their Christmas cakes and puddings, there will be a Christmas themed pop-up library and special items for purchase in The Emporium. Best of all, there will be artwork by our tallented members for sale! The art sale will run for two weeks!
This event was a great success last year.
Hawthorn Artist Society is invited to take part this year supplying artwork for Emporium visitors to purchase.
Gallery staff will handle sales for the two week long exhibition period. A 35% commission will be charged.
This is a maximum price of $300 (including the commission). There is a maximum size dimension of 50cm - as we dont have an area of The Emporium to suit the big stuff!. All submissions by artists were made by 28 November, notified by 1 December, with delivery of art by artists to Town Hall reception on Monday 4 December.
Collection of unsold work will be on Friday 22 Dec from the Customer Service desk between the hours of 9am-4.30pm. Works will be labelled for collection with the entry form provided originally to the artist by HAS. There will be no paperwork to sign, members will be required to show their entry form for identification and collection of work. Please make sure collecting artists bring a copy of the form.
After 4.30pm what remains goes into storage for collection in mid January 2018. Mimmo will let you know again via email.
